Well this year we had four official trick or treaters. So we took in a record haul in the amount of candy, but certainly not in quality! In years past we have went to a wealthier place for our activities, but still beggars can't be choosers :-).
We had a Ninja, a Power Ranger, a Star Wars clone, and a Hanna Montana. The Power Ranger took a beating after all the running and had a bad day on Thursday.
We will be eating candy for a long time! I really enjoyed the fact that I saw several families from my church while we were walking around. Cool stuff.
Now onto the more pressing news. Today around 4PM my wife will be leaving me... for an entire weekend.
She and about 40 women from the Batavia Church of Christ are leaving for the weekend for their annual retreat. Pray for me ;-) But several of us single dad guys are setting up an outing for us and our children. Will be an interesting week at church. Pray for our children, its not often they are left in our hands for an entire weekend :-D.
