As I've mentioned on this blog many times, I'm a HUGE tv fan.  Love my DVR, lets me watch shows on my time and not when the networks tell me to.  But today is the last episode of Big Brother Eight.  I am predicting now that Evel Dick will win over his daughter Daniele.

I've actually really enjoyed this year's show, my wife not so much.  But as a Christian I have been ashamed!  Two of the contestants are 'committed Christians" and it seems their words are censored more than most of the non-Christians.  That's why my favorite player is what I call the non-Christian version of me, Evel Dick.  If you take his language and clean it up and drop the cigarettes, I think you may have me.  Told people how it was, whether they wanted to hear it or not.  Only once did he go back on his word and that was near the end when eventually you either play or get played.  Took two players out at 5 and 6 instead of taking them to the final 4. 

Now a great underlying story in this was he and his daughter.  The twist on this season was that some of the house guest had 'enemies' in the house.  Dick and Daniele had not talked for several years before the show.  Over the course of three months they have reconnected and hopefully it will continue outside of the house.  Hopefully then get some counseling to deal with what they need to deal with, but it is ALWAYS a joy to see a family reunited.  I couldn't imagine not talking to my girl for a few years.  She is certainly a daddy's girl and that may be what draws me to liking ED so much.

But I predict that ED will beat his daughter by a unanimous vote.  Not counting America's vote because they are a bit unpredictable.   But the evil guy always wins in these shows when they make it to the final two.  From Survivor to Big Brother, if you play dirty and make it that far... people will vote for you.
