Well just a basic update. As mentioned in an eariler post, I started a new job. This was a big life change for me.
In 2000 I started at Jetsoft after 4 years of hard factory work. It was a great chance for me and I feel I made the most of it. After a talk with my boss it was agreed that it was probably time for me to look for employment because my salary started to become issue to the companies bottom line. So I started looking and had a few nibbles and eventually got a job offer at a company that looked promising.
I accepted the job and now I am working on C# with a MS SQL 2005 backend. So I am thrilled to finally get to work in .NET and keep my skills on par with IT demands.
This was also significant because it was the end of my ICOC connections. My boss was a friend I knew from my time in the ICOC.
We got the updated birth certificate for Collin so it is one hundred percent official he is ours!
Church has been interesting. I think we are going through some growing pains. It was bound to happen, and I think the right people are on the job to get through it all.
