A few rambling updates, some serious some not so serious.

A few rambling updates, some serious some not so serious.

1. Yesterday was a sad but great day.

Sad because it was father's day, but also exactly one year since our soon to be adopted baby's father has been in contact with him. I am grateful that he is to young to understand the significance of that.

But it was a great day because we are now ready to file for adoption. Please be in prayer for my family as this process starts down the path.

2. What a great NBA finals.

I went into these finals rooting for Miami, because I wanted Shaq to win a title before Kobe. I don't like Kobe. But now I am rooting for Miami because Dwayne Wade is unbelievable. He reminds me of Michael Jordan so much.  They called MJ, Mr. June. Dwayne Wade is filling that same mold.

I think the Mav's need to stop crying. I have agreed with everything that has happened in the finals. I think the refs have called things pretty well. I like Mark Cuban and the Mav's, but this "woe is me" attitude is getting about as old as Dwayne Wades constant "I'm sick... or hurt... Or sad..." Claim before each game.

Go Heat!

3. Vacation.

Had a great vacation last week. It was fun to get away for a bit. I will upload some pictures soon.

4. Friends.

I am really feeling blessed lately. I have had some of my friends recently join church and it has really be refreshing to my faith to have some friends at church with me every week. I have really enjoyed hanging out with them over the past few months, and really look forward to what we can do as friends for Christ.

5. Church.

Church is starting a new ministry called, "Care Ministries." It is really a life changing ministry that can change you and your church. If you are in the area, stop by and become a part of something that will change your life. If you want more info on this ministry pass this info on to your leadership, or you can contact me. I think this ministry has the potential to change my life.
